Ok, flex is pretty cool shit, no really, its really good stuff - but - does it mean we're going to see more and more of those generic flash components being used (like those flash scroll bars you see everywhere)? Sure you can style them or make your own but will developers bother?

Ps, i'm totally pumped for actionscript 3

slinging out easy to use components only encourages developers to use them. the fact they all look generic is just something that will become either common usable elements in sites, or will be something for l33t vain coders to skin for their own needs.

Does it make you sick to your very core each time you see ANOTHER video embedding using a standard FLV component? These components work, and work well. It's about getting the data to the users in as easy as possible manner. Remember, you build a house before you paint it.
