Say hello to these handsome young things.
No, it's not a new boy band, it's a new little union project... These portraits were inspired by the Israeli artist Hanoch Piven, whose portraits use a mixture of paint and objects (often junk), that really capture the personality of the subject.
All much better than mine.

I just found John Kricfalusi's blog. The creator of Ren and Stimpy, The Goddamn George Liqour Program (maybe the first online cartoon series) and general all-round whacky guy who knows a thing or two about how animation should be done. He's been going through Preston Blair's Animation book using it as a text book teaching us how to animate. He tells us not only how it should be done but why it should be done. Go on John, you tell 'em son.
