The Secret Shed Meeting

What could they possibly be doing in there?

The Castle joins Pikey's list

Pikey was less than impressed with The Castle's only vegetarian option at lunch today. Their only vegy meal on the menu was off, but when asked if they could rustle an omelet for him it seemed the humble omelet was beneath them and promised they would knock up a vegetarian creation just for him. Unfortunately this creation turned out to be not dis-similar from a cereal bowl of steamed vegetables.

This heinous act landed the Castle at the number one spot on Pikey's ever growing black list. The list now looks something like:

The Castle
The Windsor Castle
The Churchill (tentative)
Nandos

(ok, the list is short right now, but all the rest of you Notting Hill eateries: watch out)

Gottle of Geer

the Lunchathon

boy and girls, some of you may know, since joining The Union I have been on a mission. My mission is to eat lunch at a new venue everyday for as long as i can stand it. I am of course blogging my progress. Any hidden secret eating houses would be appreciated.

closing thoughts on FOWD

Felt more like a collection of old show reels than a conference. Not a complete waste though. It spurned drunken chat in the Old Man's about better integration with the developers and creatives. Certainly made us all fall a little more in-love with our inner geek. We also learnt Microsoft think developers and creatives should never talk to each other. We didn't like Microsoft. Nice retro dunnies though.

There, my first LU post. Enjoy.

Big Spaceship's presentation is really good, but to make it even better the guy presenting looks and sounds pretty much like Tom Hanks. I'm talking classic Hanks. I'm talking Money Pit, The Burbs and Big era Hanks.

We've realised we can sit downstairs in the microsoft dungeon and still watch the show on the telly. Now we can play (rubbish) xbox games while still 'learning'.

Sheesh, how uninteresting is apollo? Why make a web site in its own app? This guy talks very fast and never breathes. Ever.

FOWD preparation

Originally uploaded by flippers.

Just blowing the dust off and charging up my DS in preparation for tomorrow's FOWD. I'm also testing to see if mo-blogging is still correctly setup on little union... if you're reading this then then answer is "yes".

"WONDERLICIOUS!"

We've never been called that before, that deserves a link at the very least.

Wal and Kris (no, it's not the way round you'd expect) worked with us for a couple of weeks, they made tea on a few occasions, and helped us out on a shed load of work.

We like them.

They have a wonderlicious blog of course.
