Singstar Pitch
Yesterday myself, Gav, James, Liam, Vix, Jaimes and Sharmeen pithced up to Playstation with our Powerpoint roadies called John and Andrew. The pitch went well after a slow start but we only managed to get halfway through until time was up. We are back on Monday to do the second half of the pitch. Expect to see a post following this with what happened next...
p.s. They liked Gav's reference to Spandex!

Sing Star pitch kicks off
So today we went for a meeting at Sony to talk about a SingStar pitch we're working on. It was pretty cool y'know, the usual, coffee on the way in, short wait in reception, PS3s on every desk as we walk through the office, y'know, nothing unusual there, everyone has a PS3 on their desk right? That’s normal right?
So, meeting over, and we're at the depths of a PS3 lust binge, what’s a guy to do? Wait 8 more days to play the thing? No, no that wouldn't do at all, our only help laid in the glitzy glamour of Oxford Street, first we hit Game, surely, the answer's in the name, Game would help? Did they have a PS3 demo booth? Did they shit. So we trudged on past about a hundred mobile phone shops and about two hundred coffee shops and about three hundred thousand tourists until we arrived at our savour... Virgin Mega Store. Thank you Virgin, you really are mega. We hit the games section and there she was, a gleaming new demo booth, complete with some Sony dude telling us stuff we already know, so we told him stuff he didn't know.
Now here comes the bad news, after we had our fix we got down to work on the SingStar booth, we took pics and shot video, look at the pics if you like over here on our Flickr page, but honestly DO NOT look at the video over here on our YouTube channel, it's not pretty. We're going to do some more 'research' now we have it back at the agency so expect more horrific videos to crop up on here sometime soon. All I can say is I'm sorry and this is all in the name of research.

Most over packaged CD ROM ever?
after finding out what this was, and smashing the box just to check it really has nothing else in it, we played the cd-rom, it has one video file on it, and a link to a website (which is all jolly nice and 3d and spiny around and shiny and all) but we've still no idea what it's trying to sell us. I guess that might be the point.
Of course we recylced it, we're jolly good like that.
